Dzung Vo is a second-generation Vietnamese American who was raised in North Carolina, and studied psychology as an undergraduate at Brown University before attending medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. His clinical and research interests include health disparities and cultural competence, health needs of underserved and minority youth, and stress management among youth. In addition to his passion for the health of youth, Dzung enjoys jazz music, bike riding, spending time in nature, and mindfulness meditation practice. Dzung lives with his partner in San Francisco.
