The Division of Adolescent Medicine at the University of California,
San Francisco is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of adolescents.
Using interdisciplinary approaches, we aim to:provide exemplary clinical
care; advance knowledge through leading-edge research; translate, synthesize
and disseminate state-of-the-art knowledge in clinical practice, research,
and health care policy to the broader community; and train the next generation
of leaders in adolescent health.
Clinical
Services
Adolescents face a number of difficult challenges these days. Our
division offers a number of services that helps adolescent deal
with some of these pressures. |
Research
Research activities are an integral part of the activities of the
faculty and trainees of the Division. The types of projects that
are currently being conducted by the faculty range from bench research
to the application of intervention programs. |
Training
Developing future adolescent medicine leaders and researchers.
Our training programs help develop the people of tomorrow. |
