Community Engagement
 Our faculty is committed to the health of our local children and cover a range of health topics including: asthma, obesity, health disparities, violence prevention, school health and mental health. We strive to raise public health awareness and to partner with community organizations around child health.
 The goal of the PLUS program is to train future leaders in pediatrics to identify and address the varied issues that affect the health of underserved children. The PLUS program will provide a foundation of skills, knowledge and mentorship from which its graduates will build careers in research, policy and advocacy for underserved children.
