UCSF Children’s Hospital (Outpatient)

UCSF Children’s Hospital cares for hospitalized infants and children with a wide range of medical and surgical problems. The division of general pediatrics contributes an array of hospital-based clinical and support services. Highly trained teams of compassionate physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and case managers provide direct care, consultative care and support to a diverse patient population spanning the spectrum from well newborns to children with highly complex and specialized disease.

Mt. Zion

Mount Zion offers outstanding primary care and urgent care services, managing 15,000 pediatric visits per year. Dr. Jane Anderson provides patient group visits and Dr. David Becker specializes in integrative medicine. A Young Women’s program and teen social worker focus on adolescent care.

Parnassuss

The urgent care clinic sees over 11,000 patients per year. The urgent care clinic provides a full range of services including intravenous hydration, nebulizations, casting and suturing. Specialists and community providers can refer their complex patients for comprehensive management.

An asthma clinic, funded by the California Department of Health and UCSF, provides comprehensive asthma management and education. The primary care clinics see over 12,000 patients per year. Five experienced attending pediatricians (Dr. Carol Miller, Dr. Alan Uba, Dr. Susan Fisher-Owens, Dr. Marina Tan, Dr. Lee Atkinson-McEvoy) manage full primary care practices and supervise 15 pediatric resident clinics.
