Scott J. Soifer, MD

Dr. Soifer received his medical degree from the SUNY Upstate Medical Center. He completed his pediatric residency training at Yale University-New Haven Hospital, followed by fellowship training in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the UCSF School of Medicine. After completing a research fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine, Dr. Soifer joined the faculty at UCSF in both the divisions of Pediatric Critical Care and Cardiology. After a successful research career studying fetal and neonatal cardiac and pulmonary physiology, Dr. Soifer received a master’s degree in healthcare management from Harvard University. Dr. Soifer’s scholarly interests focus on quality of care and patient safety initiatives.
