| A large part of UCSF’s goal to ensure that patients receive certified expert care is the continued education of its Pediatric fellows and residents. Donations fund scholarships and educational programs. |

UCSF Pediatric Cardiology recently started the Loraine Newman Visiting Professorship Program. The Loraine Newman fund is used to sponsor noted professors to come to UCSF, lecture at Grand Rounds, and meet with the Pediatric Cardiology fellows.
