Loraine Newman Visiting Professorship

Funded by the Loraine Newman Foundation, this professorship sponsors in-depth, educationally focused visits by prominent clinician-scientists in the field of pediatric cardiology. The goal of the program is to encourage mentorship and the academic development of pediatric cardiology fellows and faculty who are early in their academic careers.

The visiting professorship occurs once a year. Activities include presenting didactic rounds, participating in clinical patient rounds, and attending existing clinical and teaching cardiology conferences. The visiting professor will also meet informally with fellows and junior faculty, both in groups and individually.
