Photo Tour: BMT Unit

The BMT Unit is where most BMT patients stay when admitted to the hospital for a transplant. Depending on the type of transplant, some patients may be admitted to a room on 7Long right next to the BMT Unit. These rooms as well as those in the unit are specially regulated to minimize the risk of infection. Each room in the unit has a bed, TV, VCR, phone, sink, a private bathroom with a shower and bath, and a place for a parent to sleep. For more information on the BMT Unit and its rooms, see admission.
